Workers take a stand for quality Early Years Education

Last week, educators, providers and parents shared why they #LoveEarlyYears on social media and the difference they make in the lives of children every day.

The love and passion that Early Years Educators have for their profession is extraordinary, but it’s time the Government realised that love doesn’t pay the bills.

We all know that the Early Years sector is under-appreciated and undervalued. Educators are struggling with low pay and providers are struggling to break even. Together with the Big Start campaign we are changing this.

By campaigning together we can make the Early Years sector a priority for the Government and win an increase in funding.

By joining SIPTU we can set decent pay and conditions by using a Sectoral Employment Order.
