Senator Frances Black to speak on Occupied Territories Bill at Liberty Hall Concert

Independent senator, Frances Black, will speak about the Occupied Territories Bill which is due to come before the Seanad again later his month.

Senator Black will talk about the Bill, which she has introduced and which proposes to ban the sale in Ireland of goods produced in illegally occupied territories, at a concert in Liberty Hall, Dublin 1 at 8.00 p.m. on Thursday, 22nd November. A majority of senators supported the Bill when it was first debated in July last.

Among those performing with Frances Black on Thursday are musicians Donal Lunny, Andy Irvine, Matt Molloy and Paddy Glacken. Singers, Mick Hanly, Paddy Casey and his daughter Saoirse Casey will also perform.

The proceeds from the concert will go to the Middle East Children’s Alliance which provides medical aid to the children of Gaza in Palestine.
